Hello!

I am Caroline Lehnert. For over 20 years, I have been teaching tactical self-defense. In the 90s, I started practicing Wing Tsun, and later added Kickboxing and Escrima. After more than a decade of intensive training, I earned my trainer certification in 2005, becoming one of the youngest instructors to teach at martial arts schools and community colleges.

Through personal experiences, I discovered that in real-life threat situations, it’s the simple and efficient techniques that truly matter. This realization led me to specialize in Krav Maga since 2009.

Krav Maga is 100% practical. This was exactly what I had been looking for: realistic, uncompromising self-defense based on simple principles and instinctive movements which truly works on the streets.

My martial arts training became the catalyst for a more nuanced, scientifically grounded exploration of self-defense. While studying at the University of Oxford, I began systematically exploring the topic of violence prevention alongside my studies. With my scientific approach to self-defense, I integrate cutting-edge research on stress responses and decision-making into my courses, helping my students to remain calm and act decisively in high-stress situations.

With over two decades of experience and a deep passion for empowering others through effective self-defense, I am dedicated to helping my students feel safe, confident, and prepared in any situation.
